About Match & Connect

The hydrogen market is under development. Therefore it is important for market parties to get in touch with potential customers, producers or shippers of hydrogen. Match & Connect lets them do just that. 

Match & Connect, developed by N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie, the energy infrastructure company in the Netherlands and northern Germany, is an online environment where industrial hydrogen stakeholders can meet and find an appropriate supply or demand match.  All you need to do is create an account and find your potential match. Good to know: your data is safe. Gasunie does not collect data and cannot access profiles or chat details.

Neither does Gasunie play an active role in matching market parties. Match & Connect users look for a match themselves and it is up to the users to engage with each other and make mutual agreements.  

Match & Connect is open to everyone: producers, buyers and shippers who handle industrial volumes.

To jumpstart the hydrogen market, interested market players need to engage with each other. This can be done in a few simple steps:

1. Sign up: use your email address and select a password 
2. Create an account: enter your company details and create one or more projects. Provide as many project details as possible. You can always change your project information later. All the information you enter can be seen by other Match & Connect users. 
3. Match & Connect: if you see a project you are interested in or find a person or company that could make your own project a success, simply send a message via Match & Connect. The recipient will then get an email with your question and your contact details (email address, name and telephone number) and will decide whether to contact you. 

Gasunie  facilitates the Match & Connect platform. We do not collect data and cannot access user profiles or chat details. We do not take part in activities in the online environment and we do not have a role in directing or matching market parties. Gasunie does not use Match & Connect to sell transport capacity.
